I am not one for taking a lot of medication if it’s not extreme circumstances. I don’t like the side effects and the “medicine head” feeling. Unfortunately, I also suffer from pretty bad seasonal allergies! Since I can’t just pop a few decongestants (mostly because I would never wake up!) I’ve just dealt with the congestion and runny nose. Until two nights ago when my husband suggested I try THESE…
Breathe Right Strips have been an absolute saving grace when it comes to getting a good night, allergy congestion free, sleep! The best part, they are DRUG FREE! You can get them in a few different varieties but they all work in the same manor. They are flexible so when you apply the strip right over the middle of your nose it gently opens up your nasal passages relieving congestion and making air flow easier.
The only downside is that I can’t find exactly what they are made of. I do know that they are latex free but otherwise the website does not list any other materials they are made out of. For me, the relief they provide outweighs the unknown!
Now, I’m going to sleep!

I’ve had a lot of luck with using a netti pot when I get congested. It’s kind of gross, but it helps so much all you’re using is salt water.
I’ll have to try the strips too. Sometimes with allergies, you need to attack with a few tactics.
