April 15, 2008 | Company news, Being Green
With Earth Day being just one week away I’m seeing a lot of people taking interest in what we can do to take better care of where we live. I’m not just talking about taking better care of the planet but people are really looking into the products we use in our homes, offices, daycares, etc. and the long term effects they have on us.
Do you have a great Earth Day inspired tip? Share it with us by leaving a comment…

Come out and visit the Broom Huggers booth that will be set up at Whole Foods Market in Duluth! We will be there from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event is free and there will be demonstrations, green home tips, live music and more! And our newest addition, Owen, will be there to greet you!

Man, I wish I was near your Whole Foods! Sounds like fun!
Must check out my own Whole Foods and see what’s going on there!

Add a few drops of grapefruit, lemongrass and marjoram essential oils to a 2 oz. bottled mixture of vegetable glycerin and distilled water. Shake it well and use a few drops as a hand sanitizer. This is a much better alternative to the ones sold at mass retail because it will not kill the good bacteria your body needs for a strong immune system.
As an added bonus, it smells fresh and invigorating! Have a happy, healthy and safe Earth Day:-)

Barbara-ann,
THANKS for the great tip! This would be great to make up a few and keep one in the car, one in the gym bag, etc.
